Sunday Post #7

Hello everyone!!

I'm sorry I haven't really been posting much and its due to studying. My prelims start next week so I have been studying as much as possible and writing so many essays that very soon my arm may fall off. I have a few things to catch you up on. The first being last Wednesday I received a mystery parcel which I originally thought came from the Valentine's Day box swap I took part in and it turns out it didn't so I had to send it to the owner it was supposed to go to. I felt rather bad about it because I had someone else's parcel but I kindly sent it to them this week so they can get their box. I did however receive my box from Rachael and you can read/see what I got from her here. I loved everything I got and enjoyed the whole experience of my first box swap.

Last Saturday I had my audition for Edinburgh Napier University which was rather fun. I wasn't nervous one bit which made the whole experience even better. It was a little hard to find the location as down the one street there was 4 churches so we weren't sure which one it was but lucky I found it in plenty of time. The interview was rather quick and really relaxing, there was around 12 other people auditioning as well and for the most part we were all just stuck in a room together getting to know one another. We had separate auditions as well as a group workshop and I must say each part was great!! I'm not sure when I'll hear back but I actually think I done not too bad, it isn't my first choice of university but I was just happy to get an interview.

On Friday afternoon, I received an email from University of the Highlands & Islands inviting me to an audition for Acting and Performance at their institution. I literally screamed when I read it, its where I would love to go study, even though its a while away from home and probably really expensive. The audition is on the 26th March so a little while away but I'm sure it will fly in and I'm so excited for it. Unlike Edinburgh Napier I only have to perform one monologue which is a huge plus for me and I am just going to use the same one from my Edinburgh Napier audition. I also have a college audition tomorrow which is pretty exciting as well but it isn't somewhere I want to study but its part of my back up plan incase I get rejected from uni.

I hope you all have a fantastic week and I'm sorry if posts are limited again this week but prelims are taking over my life at the moment. Thanks for reading!!!

Motivational Quote #4

Hello everyone!! Sometimes I feel like its good to have a really good laugh, the kind of ones when tears are streaming down your face and your stomach hurts so much but it feels good and you can't control yourself any longer because its just too funny to stop. Thats my favourite type of laughing, it lets me loosen up my muscles and just have a little bit of happiness for a while. Yesterday was one of those days when I laughed like that and it made me feel good, it was during one of my study periods and if I'm honest I can't even remember what me and my friend Scott were laughing at but by the time I calmed down a little I couldn't move because my sides were in agony from all that laughing. Today find something that will make you cry from laughter because it will make your day a whole lot better.

Valentine's Day Box Swap - The Goodies!!

Hello everyone!!

If you remember I wrote this post about a Valentine's day box swap that Lucie from fatbeautyx and Samantha from mascaraandcakes   were hosting & I was taking part. So on Valentine's day I received my box from the lovely Rachael from Allthelittlethingsx. I've read her blog for a while now & I love it, the style and presentation of her blog is just lovely. She is also very pretty and has beautiful hair so you should definitely check her blog out. I'm so thankful for everything that she got me and I love each product she picked out for me, so thank you so much Rachael.

 Very sparkly!!!!!

The inside with a lovely little letter.

Think Pink Bath Ballistic from Lush which smells amazing, I don't actually own a bath but found out if I just break it up I can use it in the shower.

Mustache tissues. If anyone knows me they will know I love mustaches which makes these even more awesome and they are so handy to put in my school bag.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me. She said she swears by this and I did as well until I missed placed mine so now I have a replacement.

Topshop lipstick in Really Ruby. I'm a huge fan of red lipsticks after falling in love with Mac's cockney so this may become a new favourite very soon.

 Nivea Hand cream

Bourjois Bronzing Powder. This product is one that my sister introduced me to and I only ever use her so its perfect that I now have my own one and it smells amazing.

Lastly, Rachael also got me a cute heart shaped chocolate lolly from Thorntons which has been eaten and it was delicious  Thank you once again Rachael I loved everything and can't wait to try out my new products.

I am incredibly thankful for my box and had a great experience participating in the Valentine's Day box swap and can't wait to try out my new products. I hope you enjoyed reading and seeing what I received.

Harringtons Dog Food Review*

Hello everyone!!

I'm sorry I haven't really posted in a few days but I have been super busy with school and preparing for my audition on Saturday. I do have a little review for you today and its from pet food company called Harringtons  which is a family owned and managed company that produces good quality pet food that free from artificial flavours or colours and based in the UK and sold in the UK and now available in France. Their website is here if you would like to find out more about the company and it's products.

I own a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Sasha who loves to eat so when I given the opportunity to review their food I jumped at the chance we have bought from the company before and she loved it. We normally don't feed her dry food because she always thinks its just a snack rather than a meal but since receiving the bag she has ate it as a meal and seems to like it.

(not the best photo of her)

When the bag arrived I was rather shocked, it's a large bag that will last a while. Since we received the bag she has enjoyed eating the food as the flavour is something she has never really tried - Harringtons rich in salmon & potato. She is a huge fan of roast potatoes but has never tried salmon so she must feel like she is living in luxury with new tastes for her tastebuds. Sasha is a very fussy dog and only eats certain types of dog foods and will turn her nose up to things that she doesn't like but every time I fill her bowl with the Harringtons food she finishes it within a few minutes which normally means she loves it.

Harringtons not only do dog food but they offer cat, rabbit and guinea pig food which is great. They offer three flavours for dogs - rich in salmon and potato, rich in turkey with veg and rich in lamb and rice - and they offer two flavours for cats. They sell their food in many supermarkets such as ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons etc which means it is very easy to get a hold of for your pets. Each bag shows the benefits of the food but I kindly received a leaflet which contained even more information about the ingredients used to make the food.

Overall I think this brand is great and will be for sure repurchasing in the future as it is rather cheap but offers good quality food that Sasha enjoys. Over the past week I have noticed she has much more energy and doesn't sleep as much which is good because she is a rather lazy dog. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to try a new brand of pet food for their animal.

Sunday Post #6

Hello everyone!! I hope you had a lovely week. I finally picked a song for my audition and have went with Out Here on my Own from Fame, a song I normally wouldn't have went for but I changed up the pace of the song to fit my voice and love how it sounds. The original is down below if you would like a little listen.

Today we had another little adventure only this time it was to the Kelvingrove Art Galleries & Museum and this place is filled with great art work. We mainly focused on just the bottom floor as my little cousins were getting a little bored looking at the art and much preferred the animals downstairs. The place was rather busy today which made it difficult for you to see anything. Although it was nice to have a little explore as I haven't been for a while and some things I had bypassed on my previous visits.

I can't believe it's now February, its just insane how fast January went past. It just doesn't feel right, I feel like I need to have Bernard's watch (if you remember that leave a comment below) and stop it so I can slow down time a little bit. It means that this month my prelims start and then its not too long till my real exams and this is the stage where I begin to freak out a little bit because I'm just not ready for all this.

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely week!!!
