The Not Another Tag

Hello everyone!! I've seen recently a bunch of people doing the “The Not Another Tag” and if you have read my blog for a while you will know I'm a girl who loves doing tags. I find them so easy to do and I really enjoy seeing people’s answers so I hope you enjoy. Even though I wasn't tagged to do this I still want to. The tag was started by Hayley and I thought the questions looked fun to answer.

You've made it BIG & bagged some VIP Fashion Week tickets. You lucky devil you. But in your rush to get there & get yourself noticed you forgot your VIP Passes. The guy on the door says he will cut you a deal, you can go in only if you sacrifice either your Front Row seat, backstage privileges or goody bag. What's it gonna be? 

I would give up the front row seat because I would still get the goodie bag and freebies is what I live for.

You're making a new Subscription box, what 4 items & which dreaded perfume sample would you include in it? 

I would probably put in some fun nail polish colour maybe a neon pink one or something.I would put in some hand cream and maybe a lip balm because those are something everyone needs and for my last item, I would put in some sort of coffee flavoured chocolate because that combines two of my favourite things. For perfume I would probably go for Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, it smells nice and the bottle is pretty as well.

What's your biggest blogging bug bear? The one thing guaranteed to make your blood boil & have you screaming/eye rolling at your laptop?

I hate those people that follow you just so you will follow them back then if you do follow them they unfollow you. It annoys me when people comment on one of your posts saying “come check out my blog, I have a giveaway going on at the moment”

No more joining in Twitter chats only slightly relevant to your blog. You can only join in one blogger chat a week for the rest of your blogging days, which one's it gonna be & why? 

I don’t participate in the blogger chats and I know I should because they always look great and everyone says how much fun they are but I either miss them or just prefer watching.

'Fess up, do you actually own any MAC? If so what don't you like about the product? 

Yes I own one Mac lipstick in Cockney and it’s my favourite all time lipstick, its just such a pretty colour and love how it looks on my lips. I own a couple of Mac eye shadows, a blush from the Betty Bright collection (its so pretty) and Mac fix+.

The blogging Gods ban arm swatching, which body part will you swatch on now?

My cheeks, I think I would look amazing if I had a bunch of swatches on my cheeks.

You can no longer have Yankee Candles & Perfume Bottles in the background of your shots, what other inanimate object will you choose?

My clapper board to look as if I’m a movie or something like that.

Your blogs Instagram is it for cats or meal shots?

Meal shots, although I haven’t posted one in a while so I’ll have to go out for dinner shortly.

What I Have Been Pinning!!

Hello everyone!! I thought I would do another "What I have been pinning?". I really enjoyed doing the last one I did and I'm thinking of making it a thing on my blog even if I do it once a month?

Being a major WWE fan this shocked me. I've heard that before retiring the Undertaker wanted his Wrestlemania streak to be broken and supposedly in 2010 he chose Brock Lesnar to do it. For anyone who watched Wrestlemania on Sunday night/Monday morning will have been as shocked as me, for the streak to be broken in the way it did has crushed mine and the WWE universe's hearts but the legend will never die.

On a happier note, these cupcakes are so cute. I made easter cookies on Sunday but I may have to make these rather soon (or similar).

 How pretty are these nails? Perfect for Spring!!

 I have been lusting over some midi skirts lately. This outfit is rather pretty but I don't think it would suit me very well.

Moving Away from Home

Hello everyone!! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will have already heard that on Thursday night I received a conditional offer from University of the Highlands & Islands and I am completely over the moon about it. I traveled up to Inverness on Wednesday 26th March for my interview and it was amazing. I loved the whole feel of the University and the people there seemed rather lovely. One of the lecturers who also interviewed me is the auntie of my Pastoral care's partner which is rather funny and I actually didn't know that until after the interview. The conditions that I received are fantastic, I only need a C in both English and Drama so that will be easy to achieve. My only dilemma I have is moving away from home, I want to move as it will be a new start for me and hopefully the start to my fame. My parents and almost everyone else in my family aren't as happy about my offer as I am, they don't want me to move out. I feel ready to move out, I am a rather independent person and I know living on my own will be a challenge but I think I can do it. The university does not have student accommodation so that will mean I will have to rent out an apartment or something like that. Money will be a huge problem but I have some sort of a plan worked out in my head so hopefully it will work out just fine. This offer has made me more determined and rather proud of myself, I never in a million years imagined to get an offer. This is the beginning of something special I hope, I just have to pass my exams first.

Spring Wishlist 2014

Hello everyone, happy April!! This year is going by so fast, its hard to believe it's already April. Today I thought I would show you a mini little wishlist of things I've been lusting over for the past few days now. Like most people I am in love with the film Frozen and when I seen this phone case I knew I had to get it. Its from eBay and its currently on my watch list and very soon it will be mine. The "You Can't Sit With Us" t-shirt is also from eBay and I've been wanting to buy one of these t-shirts for a while now because I am a huge fan of Mean Girls. There has been a few beauty products I have since going about and I've seen them in store but I'm yet to buy them. The first being the Revlon Colorburst lacquer balm in Provocateur. I seen this in boots the other day and swatched it but the only one left was the tester so I'll need to wait till its back in my local stores but its such a beautiful colour. Another new product I have been wanting to try is the Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation. I have been on the lookout for a new foundation but I have yet to find out that I like so I'm hoping this will work well with my skin and make me look flawless. The last product on my wishlist is a nail polish from the Rita Ora Rimmel nailpolish line and the colour that caught my eye is Pillow Talk. I think its the perfect colour for Spring and it has a nice shimmer to it which is different from most of the pastel nail polishes I already own.

Motivational Quote #5

Hello everyone!! I thought this quote was appropriate because lately I have been rather lazy, not just with blogging but with everything. I have so much things that I need to do and I just have to get up and do them. Last night I sat for a while and looked for some inspiration for blog posts so all I need to do is type them up & then post them. I've also been slacking on going to the gym lately so I'm aiming to go nearly everyday this week and get back into my fitness routine. I go to NYC in like 60 days or something so I'm hoping by then I'll be a little fitter and a little help with quotes like this I will be.

Sunday; Beauty Scenario Tag

Hello everyone!! I recently saw Eden from beautybyeden do the Beauty Scenario Tag and decided to do it aswell so here is my answers :

1. You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?

I would keep Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and Rimmel match perfection

2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?

I would probably leave it, I hate telling people things like that.

3. You're not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?

Mac Cockney. Its just so pretty!!

4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?

I'm still in my teenage years and when I was younger I never really wore makeup. I would probably wear my hair down a lot more because I always wore it in a ponytail.

5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixi cut. Do you a) Smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum hysterical b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward or c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.

I'm the type of person that would definitely complain and demand a refund. 

6. Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your makeup 

I would probably pack my Urban Decay naked basics palette. Its got all the colours I need and its pretty small so thats a plus side. 

7. Your house has been robbed, don't worry- everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?

8. Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs

This is a tough one because its a friend so I probably would just pretend I hadn't noticed

Yankee Candle Mini Haul

Hello everyone!!

The other day I decided I wanted some new candles as I'm getting rather tired of my Christmas scents because I still haven't used them all up. I got three mini yankee candles and they all smell super good. The first two smell really fresh and are great for spring whereas November Rain is a autumn scent but I love it a lot.
