The Dream Tag

(photo from google)

This tag was floating around the internet a while ago and I have to be honest I have hit a bit of a “writers block” therefore I thought I would do another tag post. I enjoy answering questions and these are super easy to do when you have no time whatsoever. I have a show in less than two weeks so everything is a bit hectic at the moment but I wanted to put up a post anyway. I am a dreamer and always have been. I always find myself dreaming of the secret life I wish I had.

1. What are you currently day dreaming about?
Florida, I’m going back to my second home in July and I cannot wait. I’m dreaming of walking down Main Street, MK with a huge smile on my face, dreaming of meeting all the characters and having just a great time. I’m dreaming of being free and not having to worry or stress out because stress doesn’t exist in Disney World

2. What three items live in your dream wardrobe?
A pair of Christian Louboutin, I think they are every girls dream tbh. A white midi tutu skirt, something I probably couldn’t pull off even if I tried but I love them and they look so classy if paired with a nice top and heels. The last thing would be a Prada handbag, I just think they look so classy and have always wanted to own one.

3. Who's your dream celeb look-alike?
There isn’t really an celebs that I would love to look like if I’m completely honest.

4. In your eyes, who's currently "living the dream"?
I think those who are actors full time are living the dream whether that’s on stage or film or tv. I hope that one day I will be one of those people. Also those who are currently in a production on Broadway, that’s would just be amazing!!

5. What do you dream of more; love or money?
I get that money doesn’t buy you anything but it would solve a lot of my problems in life if I didn’t constantly have to worry about my finances. Love is something I guess everyone wants, myself included but these days money is an essential and you don’t get very far without it. I guess I would say I dream a lot more about money than I do love.

6. Your dream holiday escape?
Of course, Florida but I would love to go back to New York and explore everywhere I did not get a chance to. I love would love to do a road trip around America. I’m not one for wanting to go to places like the Caribbean or anything like that.

7. Who's your dream YouTuber collab?
I’m not a youtuber therefore I don’t have an answer for that but if I were I would love to collab with Miranda Sings.

8. Did your childhood dreams ever come true?
Yes they actually did, my ultimate dream was going to Disney and I got the chance in 2005 and my other dream I’m living just now. Acting full time was always a dream and its currently what I’m doing with my life.

9. If one of your dreams could come true right now, what would it be?
To get into HND next year. It all depends on my show in two weeks and my graded unit so fingers crossed.

Thank you for reading and I realised I mentioned Disney way too many times but I’m addicted to Disney so too much isn’t really a problem to me.

5 Great Things About My Week!!

Hello everyone!!

I thought I would do a different kind of blog post today and tell you 5 things that have been great this week;

Rehearsals  -  This year for my final production at college we have took on "4:48 Psychosis" by Sarah Kane which we will be performing in 16 days which is not too long away but this week it finally has came together. We only have a few more scenes to finalise and then we are good to go which is amazing considering how tough a year we have had.

New Lecturer - a week ago, my college got a new lecturer who has taken over my voice classes and he is amazing. There is something about him that I really like, and he really cares about not only my class but also the work we are doing. He gives great advice and I feel like if I had him from the start of the year college may have been that little bit better. I think Friday was one of my favourite days at college so far and there have been many good days.

Juice Detox - I found a Glasgow based Juice Company that specialises in a Juice Detox and decided to try out a 3 day one this week. Everything about it I loved (apart from not getting my third day on time which I'm not too happy about as it meant I couldn't finish the Detox) it made me feel like I had been wiped out from all the badness.

New Clothes - I purchased a lot of new clothes this week and I think I had a delivery every single day, which made me very happy as I never get mail. I felt my wardrobe needed updating even though most of the stuff I bought was plain black for college.

My College Friends - I have a few close friends that I have known all throughout my school years but my college friends are just amazing!! From the very first day as a whole class, we connected and this week has just been another great week with them. It is as though we have known each other our whole lives and I will miss them all dearly when things change next year.
    1. I hope you enjoyed hearing about the top 5 things that made my week great!!

The Netflix Tag

(photo from google)

Hello everyone!!

So it’s been over a month now since I last put up a blog post which I am feeling slightly annoyed at myself for not sticking to regularly uploading. It’s been a hectic last few weeks with auditions and rehearsals therefore blogging hasn't really been my top priority. Today I thought I would upload a tag that I have seen floating around lately which is the Netflix tag. I have gotten back into watching Netflix in the last week or so and thought this tag would be an appropriate post to upload.

All Time Favourites
I love Orange is the New Black. I have rewatched a handful of times and love it I really enjoy going back and watching the first two seasons of Skins (another of my favourite shows)

Current Addiction
I watched Ugly Betty while it was on TV but rekindled my love for it a week ago and cannot get enough of it. Reminds me a lot of the Devil Wears Prada, which is a film I like a lot.

Wishlist
I wish I could watch Saved by the Bell even though I have the full box set I sometimes cannot be bothered getting up to get the disks. If there was a section for 90s, TV programmes my life would be 10x better.

Net Peeve
The US and Canadian versions are so much better than the UK version which irritates me as I do not find that very fair. Just because we are the UK doesn't mean we don’t deserve a wider variety. Another thing is how long it takes for a new episode/season to go up on Netflix, I feel as though I've been waiting years for the new season of Orange is the New Black.

Marathon Essentials
A nice comfortable place to sit/lie, I like to watch Netflix on my bed with either my duvet or my cosy Primark blanket. Snacks are must whether they are healthy or not, I loving banana chips at the moment. Another key essential is time, you can’t settle down to watch a large amount of a show if you have something planned.

You Should Watch
For sure Orange is the New Black, I never get hooked to programmes but this one was an exception. There is nothing else I can really think of that I would really recommend.

Christmas Excitement!!

Do you ever just get so festive and excited about Christmas you can't contain yourself? Well that has been me this week; suddenly I got this feeling about how excited I was about Christmas. Over the last few years, I have not gotten this feeling and was beginning to think the spirit of Christmas had disappeared and the true meaning of Christmas was lost but not this year. I can officially say I think I am done with my Christmas shopping this year (which is a first) unless I truly want to spoil people this year. I have been singing Christmas songs non-stop and have bought a few festive jumpers. The only thing I have not done yet is put my decorations up but only two more days for me and then I can get my tree up and things. This year is the first year in a while that I can truly go out on Christmas presents for people and not worry about money problems, which has been lovely. It is also the first year that I have had a job therefore I have experienced Christmas shopping from behind the scenes in a way, dealing with other peoples shopping problems rather than my own. Next week is the last week of college of 2014 and I am so ready for a little break, it’s been a crazy experience the last few months but I need to relax for a while. I cant wait to finish up so I can probably get into wrapping presents and doing some festive baking/crafts. I am planning on making some cookies and cupcakes with my little cousins then hopefully making some clay baubles for their tree. I have planned a full day for us to do exciting things but knowing me something will come up and I will not get round to doing it. The purpose of this post is to really say how exciting the festive season is for me this year and I hope that every year will be like this. I also wanted to break up my posts before I post another Christmas tag post. I know tags are repetitive on my blog but when I have been as busy as I have been trying to get posts up has been a difficult task therefore tags are easy to put up. Once I have finished from college though I’ll have a little more time to put that extra bit of effort into my posts.

Thanks for reading & I hope you have a lovely day!!

11: Something you miss?
If I'm honest I don't really miss anything at the moment apart from being stress free.

Graze Box..

Hello everyone!! Today I thought I would show off what I got in my Graze box, which is a boxed subscription for a very low price which is filled with lots of yummy treats. I'll leave my code below so you are able to get your first box free and I will get £1 off my next box which would be great.

Apple Crumble - This little box contained dried apple, raisins & cinnamon  honey almonds, I really like this. the apple was lovely and really chewy but nice. The almonds tasted delicious and the raisins were okay. Overall I really enjoyed this.

Mango Chutney with Black Pepper Dippers - I really enjoyed this, the little dippers were really nice although the black pepper was a bit overpowering and the chutney was really good.

Summer Pudding -I didn't like the dried blackcurrants or cranberries in this but the yogurt seeds were really tasty and something a little bit different.

Marvellous Macaroon - I loved this, I had this for a little snack on my way to school this morning and it was lovely. I liked the almond slices and amaretti drops. I would probably like this in my box again as I normally wouldn't have ate this but I'm so glad I did.

I hope you take a little look over on the Graze box website and try a box for yourself even if its just the free one by using my code ; KATELY61B as its one of my favorite subscription services as you get to try things you wouldn't normally and it encourages you to eat a lot more healthier. I hope you enjoyed this post today and have a lovely day!!

100 Bloglovin Followers

(picture from pinterest)

Hello everyone!! I received an email earlier today saying I that my blog has reached 100 bloglovin followers which is a great achievement and I can't thank my followers enough. Ever since I changed my blog name I have gained a lot more followers which I'm extremely happy about as at first I didn't think it would make a difference but it sure has. When I first starting blogging I didn't really ever imagine having 100 people reading my blog and I'm so grateful that you do read it. By achieving this it has given me the motivation to keep blogging as its such an amazing community to be part of and I'm happy that people take time out of their day to read my posts. I'm glad I decided to blog a lot more over the last few months because it gives me a way to connect with people all over the world and do something I really enjoy. If you are thinking of starting a blog or have just started keep going because when you hit milestones like this you realise what you are doing will make you happy.

Thank you once again and I hope you all had/have a lovely day.

Sunday Post .. #3

Hello everyone!! I'm really enjoying doing a post every Sunday, it lets me reflect on what has happened this week. This week I started back at school after the Christmas break, I hate going back after a holiday.
It was also my uncle's funeral on Tuesday, it was a really sad day but the service was really nice and the minister who done the service is my school minister and he tried to put a little bit of humour and happiness into what he was saying about my uncle which was nice. It was the first funeral I had ever been to and didn't really know what to expect, I didn't think I would of cried as much as I did.

I mentioned in my last post that I would do a post on Graze, which is a little box you pay for and it comes through your door filled with healthy little snacks. I accidentally ate some things out of it before I took pictures so I'll hopefully remember next friday when I get my box to take pictures before I open it. The snacks are really good and you can choose what you would like in each box. This week I received Jaffa cake flapjacks - these tasted exactly like a chocolate orange and they were delicious, Cookies and cream - this contained mini cookies, hazelnuts, white chocolate buttons and sunflower seeds, this was really nice aswell, Korai Chutney - this was interesting, it was little curry bites and chutney, not too sure if I enjoyed it or not and lastly I received BBQ pistachios - I really enjoyed the flavouring of these. I also have a little code which will let you get your 1st, 5th and 10th box free - the code is KATELY618.

I also discovered a new show called Orange is the New Black which is a netflix original show and I love it. I watched Ingrid or missglamorazzi's video on her favourites from 2013 and she mentioned this show so I decided to check it out, I'm only on the 3rd episode but so far I'm really enjoying it. I must say though it does involve mature content so do bear that in mind if you do choose to watch it. Its about a woman who has self surrendered into prison and follows her experiences during her sentence. If you do watch it please tell me what you think of it.

My gran's birthday is on thursday so hopefully we are doing something for it, I know her sister is coming up from London as a surprise for her which will be good. My mum is thinking of going for a meal and later in the week I'll have a post showing some pictures of it.

I hope you all had a lovely week and next week is just as good.

Lush Haul

Hello everyone!! At the very start of the boxing day sales I made a few cheeky purchases from Lush, a shop I never really buy from as I do think some products are a little overpriced for what you actually get. Anyway I got all my items for just under £20 which is great considering normally you get one or two items and it can sometimes be way over that.

Sea Spray - Is a hair mist which adds volume, body and hold to your hair.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel - A limited edition shower gel which a lot of the beauty community (bloggers & youtubers) rave about this product every year due to its sweet smell of candy floss and pear drops.

Snow Fairy Soap - This product is also limited edition and is exactly the same as the shower gel only its in soap form and is shaped like a fairy.

Melting Snowman - The melting snowman is a bath melt and smells very like mulled wine and smells like Christmas in a little bath melt

Cinders Bath Bomb - I bought Cinders simply because I played the evil stepmother in the school pantomime this year and thought buying the bath bomb was very appropriate, it smells like cinnamon with hints of orange.

Bombardino Bath Bomb - This smells delicious and the shape of it is so cute!!

None of Your Beeswax Lip Balm - This wasn't what I originally ordered but they sold out of what I wanted so they threw this in, it smells like lemons. I like it alot because it isn't sticky and makes my lips nice and soft.

Whoosh Temple Balm - This little balm is great if you need a boost of energy in the morning, I didn't actually think it would work but I've used it a few times now and its great.

I hope you enjoyed reading and if you bought anything during the Lush sale tell me below.

2014 Memory Jar

Hello everyone!! For my Sunday post today I thought I would show you a little DIY project I made the other day. Last year I saw a few people make memory jars and I loved the idea but never got around to making my own one so I decided I would do so this year. My sister bought the jar from ikea and wasn't using it so I kindly asked for it then I cut out numbers/letters from some out magazines and glued them to the jar. I cannot wait to start filling it up with my memories or just exciting things that happened during 2014 and at the end of the year I will try and do a blog post reflecting on the year using the memories in the jar. Its also nice to look back at in the future as sometimes memories can fade away or get stuffed to the back of your mind but this way it means these events will never be lost.

I hope you have a lovely Sunday as I'm off to the carnival then I'm going to either write up my Chemistry notes which I have been putting off for the majority of the time I've been off school. I know I promised myself to doing catch up posts on Sunday's but I thought today I would show you something a little different. I also have a lush haul post to put up this week aswell as a Graze box post showing you some yummy treats I got in the post this morning.
